Chestermere Family Chiropractic has been serving the community of Chestermere for over 20 years. Our exceptional staff is very professional and looks to maintain a high ethical standard, friendly service and complete client privacy. We are happy to introduce you to our team:
My name is Ted D’Amico, and I have been a practicing chiropractor since 1980. I was eight years old when I had my first chiropractic adjustment. After that, my parents always took me to the chiropractor first before the MD. From this, my love for chiropractic grew, especially the natural approach to health without drugs or surgery.
I have developed a family-style practice for the past 41 years. One of my biggest compliments is seeing my clients grow up with the belief in chiropractic and having them refer generations of family members to me.
I have 20 chiropractors in my family, including my wife, Dr. Gail, two brothers, my son, Jared, his partner, Bridget, and a host of in-laws. So, as you can see, chiropractic is a way of life for us.
Hi, my name is Gail Gdanski, and I have been in practice for 40 years, graduating in 1981.
We have 20 chiropractors in my family, starting with my dad. My son, Jared, just graduated from chiropractic college, and my daughter, Brittani, is a veterinarian.
Chiropractic is my passion, and I am lucky because I get to have fun while helping people. My husband Ted and I are joining to become the dynamic duo of Chestermere Family Chiropractic. We are also pleased to announce that my son Dr. Jared and his partner, Dr. Bridget will be joining us as of July 2021
Hi, I'm Jared. I recently graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. I have been lucky enough to have grown up with chiropractic, as my first adjustment was when I was only minutes old. I am the 19th chiropractor in my family and cannot wait to start serving the community of Chestermere. Chiropractic has helped me immensely over my lifetime. Before chiropractic college, I played Hockey on a scholarship in the US, and I knew regular chiropractic care gave me an edge over the competition. Not only did it help boost my energy and recovery time, but it kept me on the ice as I never missed a game due to injury. I am unbelievably fortunate to practice with my two amazing parents, Dr. Ted and Dr. Gail and my beautiful partner, Dr. Bridget. I am passionate about helping people reach their health goals. I grew up in Chestermere and am very grateful that I can give back to this fantastic community.
Kia Ora, I'm Bridget and I am from New Zealand. I graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2020, where I met Dr. Jared. I moved to Canada shortly after graduating and feel very grateful and excited to be joining the Chestermere Family. I love taking care of families and have a particular interest in ensuring babies and children grow and thrive to their full potential. I got into chiropractic after retiring from my tennis career due to injury. From regular chiropractic care, I was able to heal and perform like I never had before. I wish I would have found chiropractic sooner, and this drives my passion for helping as many people as possible reach their peak performance and optimal health. I can't wait to meet you and help you thrive!
I started at Chestermere Family Chiropractic in November 2020 and quickly became a part of the family. I have always been fascinated by how the body moves and works to help us live a functional, purposeful, and happy life! The holistic approach to wellness taken here at Chestermere Family Chiropractic aligns with my belief.
The best part of working here is seeing the incredible positive changes that an adjustment or massage can have on a person’s life. I enjoy being an integral part of the team, and I look forward to greeting every patient with a smile and following them on their journey.
My favourite quote “The doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet and the cause and prevention of disease.” - Thomas Edison.
I have worked in this office since September 2008. I have seen the many ways that chiropractic can help people. I am so happy to be a part of this team and enjoy seeing the patients realize the incredible healing benefits of chiropractic care and massage therapy.
I am here to help with any of your questions, the organization of appointment schedules, insurance/billing needs, and making you feel comfortable in our office.
Working at the front desk allows me to meet, greet and interact with so many great people as they come and go. In addition, I have a front-row seat to watch the progress they make in this office. I have seen these changes in myself, my family, and patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
Hi, my name is Nick. I am a Registered Massage Therapist with an Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma with 2200 hours from The Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. Before arriving in Canada from Ukraine in 2011, I worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon for 14 years after obtaining my medical degree in 1994 and finishing my residency in 1997.
I am more focused on the therapeutic approach to massage. My background and previous experience have helped me understand how different systems in our bodywork in conjugation with each other. This has allowed me to use a variety of massage techniques depending on the patient's issue. I believe in collaboration between therapist and patient to achieve better and faster recovery, so don’t be surprised if I give you “homework” stretching and strengthening exercises specific to your condition.
I have been a licensed massage therapist for almost 20 years. In 2016, I graduated from The National Institute of Wellness and Esthetics in Calgary with my 2200-hour Massage Therapy certification. In 1999, I graduated from the Toronto School of Natural Health. I have also taken many courses from the Calgary College of Holistic Health from 1997 through 2014.
I have developed a blend of techniques that make my massage unique to each client and their specific needs. As a result, I excel in finding and relieving those painful areas helping you relax and relieve stress.
I am experienced in many forms of traditional massage, including deep tissue, therapeutic, trigger point, myofascial stretching release, relaxation, cupping, and hot stone. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and walking my dog Spots.
My interest in health and sciences started young. Growing up, I was introduced to different modalities of Chinese medicine whenever illness came on. The use of cupping, gua-sha (scraping) and Chinese herbs was very prominent to encourage healing. My interest in holistic, alternative medicine continued while I got introduced to chiropractic and naturopathic medicine in grade school. With an interest in biology and physiology, I completed my bachelor’s degree in biological sciences through the University of Calgary. I continued to complete a diploma in natural nutrition before embarking on the field of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
As a competitive dragon boat paddler, I have developed a particular interest in sports therapy and know the importance of prevention, recovery and injury rehabilitation. Although trained to address many conditions, I have experience with many pain management cases; I enjoy working with individuals, prenatal and postnatal, including induction and other gynecological issues. Anxiety, stress, headaches, immune support and digestive problems are additional areas I enjoy working quite a bit with.
I value my patients and their health and utilize different modalities in my practice to provide the best care I can. These modalities might include acupuncture, cupping, gua-sha (scraping), moxibustion, auricular therapy, diet therapy and Chinese herbal formulas to promote and encourage healing and health.
Hi, my name is Roger. I am a Sheepadoodle which means I am hypoallergenic and don't shed. I love coming to work with my Mummy and Daddy, Dr. Bridget and Dr. Jared, because I meet so many happy people. I am very friendly, so feel free to give me lots of pats and treats (which you can get at the front desk). In my spare time, I love long walks, paddleboarding on Lake Chestermere and tug of war.
